The Opportunity

The Administrator reports to the Vice President and supports the Investor Services department. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: to be part of an RTA team dedicated to providing excellent client service to our client base.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 

Client Work and Client Service

 

  • Trade Processing and Account Data maintenance, ensuring all records are processed timely and accurately on our TA platforms;
  • Preparation of capital call notifications, investor statements, distributions and other communications to investors as required. Distributing the emails/faxes and couriers to investors as appropriate once they have been reviewed and approved;
  • Review of investor trade documentation (Subscriptions, Redemption, Transfer documents) and gathering all the relevant supporting documentation including FATCA/KYC;
  • Updating and maintaining MaplesFS databases for new funds and for changes in information for existing funds;
  • Assisting team members with general administrative tasks and liaising with other departments as required;
  • Accurately tracking and monitoring all Investor related queries and requests on behalf of our clients;
  • Being the first point of contact for our clients and their Investor Service needs.

  • Proactively seeking out and taking advantage of training and development opportunities;
  • Developing a continuous learning plan with the consent of their Vice President.

  • Acting in accordance with internal policies and procedures, consulting with others as appropriate;
  • Delivering engagements on time, and to the full satisfaction of the Vice Presidents and client;
  • Exhibiting integrity and confront unethical actions;
  • Maintaining and promoting corporate values in conducting internal and external business activities and when interacting with colleagues;
  • Adhering to the highest individual ethical and social standards when dealing with colleagues and clients;
  • Being aware of the sensitivity of information and treat it appropriately;
  • Demonstrating a high productivity level in work through time and cost control.

  • Consistently producing high volumes of work whilst maintaining a proficient performance on the job;
  • Producing accurate, neat, thorough work;
  • Having a strong attendance record;
  • Grasping instructions quickly and accurately and solving novel or problem situations easily, communicating and obtaining consents from the Vice Presidents as appropriate;
  • Withstanding pressure and remaining calm in high workload environments and other conflict situations;
  • Being effective in organising own work, showing an ability to meet deadlines;
  • Developing effective working relationships with the appropriate level of client staff;
  • Responding promptly and professionally to requests for assistance.

Other

  • Ad-hoc projects, as required

 

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

 

  • A Degree holder with 1 – 3 years’ experience in Financial services or similar field;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • A good team player but also being able to work independently;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Flexible and adaptable to change;
  • Positive attitude & energy;
  • Strong technical skills.
